HR Solutions has an immediate temporary to possible hire opening for full time Packaging and Processing Technicians for our local client. All qualified candidates must be able to work rotating 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts - no exceptions. Starting hourly wage is $18.00 per hour and benefits. Successful candidates will have GMP knowledge, are comfortable working in a high performing team environment, will contribute to team decisions, display good communication skills (both written & verbal), have flexibility in activities and scheduling,participate in continuous improvement projects and help support the overall business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Must cross train and be multi-skilled in various packaging and ancillary activities of the department.
• Understand the operational characteristics of the different packaging equipment.
• Must be able to make adjustments to assigned equipment as necessary for optimum performance.
• Operators will conduct performance equipment changeovers on all assigned equipment.
• Successfully optimize the speed of the line and monitor daily output.
• Candidate must be cognizant of specified standards.
• Candidate must be detail oriented and monitor the quality of the produced product.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as required by job duties.

Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Pre-employment drug screen
• Clean criminal record
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as required by job duties
• Must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude - qualified applicants will be tested
• Must have demonstrated computer literacy - qualified applicants will be tested
• Problem solving skills
• Pharmaceutical packaging experience preferred
• Ability to operate a fork truck, walker stacker and demonstrate physical ability to move/push drums
• Must be able to work rotating 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts - no exceptions
